So much for giving up yummy,fatty, delicious food for Lent.

I’ve made a stupidly tasty concoction for the fellow Lent Project members.

Tis easy.

Get – 150g Oats, 150g wholemeal flour, 200g butter/marg and 125g sugar.

Mix well and put on top of Rhubarb,orange segments and zest with a sprinkle of ground ginger and sugar.

Oven bake for half an hour on gas mark whatever.

And reluctantly serve to guests in a soup of cream.

Extra sit ups tomorrow then.
